—-Trim the wick. After each time you light the candle , start by trimming the wick to between 1/8 and 1/4 inches long. Allow the wax to melt all the way across.

—Once your candle is lit, avoid blowing it out for about 2 to 4 hours or until the entire top layer of wax has melted to avoid tunneling.

—Avoid leaving the flame around from moving air, kids, and animals safety comes first please be a responsible candle owner. Avoid burning candles over 4 hours at a time to avoid the wick becoming unstable, and the flame to get too wide, your candle to smoke, and soot lastly, enjoy your candle and relax.
