Welcome to Motek Essentials
We provide organic and clean products from the earth to your hands. It all started in my tiny kitchen, where synthetic ingredients are forbidden and uncompromising quality reigns. I’ve always appreciated the beauty of simple recipes homemade from organic, healthy ingredients.
Unlike a lot of beauty products out there, mine are formulated completely from scratch, and I know exactly what’s in each jar and how wonderfully it will work for you. I hand-pour each moisturizing lotion bar, candle, massage and face oil. All are free of phthalates and parabens. High quality butters are combined with anti-inflammatory oils and essential oils to help the body find homeostasis and to ease tired muscles, while promoting hydration and giving the body a luminous glow.

Our Story:
As an active massage and colon therapist, cosmetologist, and certified hatha yoga instructor. I practice modalities of shiatsu, lymphatic drainage, cranial sacral, prenatal, and Thai massage with aromatherapy.
While practicing massage, I really wanted to help my clients with a product that would soothe tired muscles and dry skin. I began experimenting with a few of my favorite ingredients: cocoa butter, shea butter, mango butter, and arnica. I found that the results were transformational.
As cocoa butter is rock-hard in its natural state, I wondered how I could make it easier to apply without diluting its raw power. I learned to gently use low heat to combine pure cocoa butter, mango and shea butter, beeswax and other high quality essential oils in tiny batches to preserve the richness of their natural essential fatty acids.
Once I developed a solid recipe, the foundation of Motek Essentials was born: a solid moisturizer that glides on like silk without leaving a sticky wax feeling, and is free from the preservatives, synthetics, and stabilizers traditionally used to make lotion bars. I then began to make deliciously scented hand-poured candles from coconut and apricot wax, body scrubs with real sugar canes, and other natural products borne from my passion to facilitate a balanced and restorative spa experience for everyone, everywhere.
The Spark of Inspiration:
During a Massage session I noticed a common need amongst my clients: relief for healing, nourishing tired muscles and repairing dry skin. I wanted to create something that would extend the benefits of my treatments into their daily lives. Driven by this desire, I began experimenting with some of my favorite natural ingredients - locally scoured beeswax, organic mango and shea butter infused with unrefined clean body oils to help heal.
Cocoa butter, known for its hard texture, posed a unique challenge. I wanted to harness its raw power in a form that was easy to apply. After many attempts and much experimentation, I discovered the perfect method. By gently heating and carefully blending high quality vegan butters and top essential oils , creating our signature solid moisturizers. The result was a silky, smooth balm that glides on effortlessly, free from any animal testing, non- GMO’s , pesticides, preservatives and synthetic additives.
Crafting the Perfect Candle
Encouraged by my success, I turned my attention to creating candles that could transform any space into a sanctuary. My goal was to make candles that were not only beautifully scented but also as environmentally friendly as possible while giving a long-lasting fragrance. After extensive research and numerous trials, I found the perfect combination of sustainable organic soy, coconut and apricot wax blended with meniscal, a pure vegetable paraffin base. These materials offered a cleaner, longer burn than traditional candle wax and are infused with pure essential fragrances to provide a truly uplifting experience.
